Want To Work Abroad in Summer 2008?

Point Blank are working with a large holiday company and are looking for experienced and dynamic DJs/Music Producers, Film Makers and Radio Broadcasters/Presenters to run workshops abroad with young people in July and August 2008.

The destinations are Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cyprus, and Portugal
All applicants must have excellent technical skills, enjoy working with young people, be highly organized, and available to work abroad during this period.

DJs/producers must have knowledge of all of the following: CD decks, Cubase 4 (midi and audio recording and arranging), and Reason. Scratching skills will be an advantage.

Film makers must be proficient in digital camera use, and editing software such as Adobe Premier.

Radio Broadcasters/Presenters must be able to conduct and record interviews and us editing software such as Wavelab to create a radio show/podcast.

A key part of the role is also to PR around the Holiday Villages to encourage uptake.

However, we are always looking for tutors/ assistant tutors in the following areas as well:

DJing - basic to advanced
Music Production - basic to advanced
Radio Production
Club Promotion/Event Management

Tutors must have industry knowledge and preferably previous teaching experience. Assistant tutors must be skilled in their field, but do not necessarily need industry/teaching experience-this is an opportunity to get ahead in the music business! Clean driving license and own transport would be an advantage.
